Well it's taken a while, but this outpost of the Ashton (or ex-Winton) family has joined the blogging age. I'm sure it's already all very last year, but trust me, fo South Gloucestershire, we are positively cutting edge :)
I've got years of photos to catch up on... but luckily, I won't bore you with the whole lot, so we'll just go back as far as Oct 07 - mainly because it was our trip to San Francisco, and it makes me feel all warm and sunny thinking about it (even though it's cold and miserable outside!).
After San Francisco, cam apple harvesting and cider making from the orchard next door (we had permission, honest!). We had some friends from London down (Will & Hayley, Dan & Fiona, Nic & Dominic, Marc, Nic & Thomas), so we had quite a house-full. But cider was made, food eaten and lots drunk, so we had a great time.
Thence followed Christmas (at Helen's folks), and then New Year (at ours).
