There was a fair in Thornbury for the switching on of the Christmas lights. It was cold, but everyone had a good time - Elspeth met up with lots of her friends from school, and there was quite a big Ferris wheel, helter skelter and the usual fairground rides; along with mulled wine and mince pies for the grown-ups!
