Whilst the girls were away....

Whilst the girls were topping up their tans in the Carribean, the boys embarked on a roadtrip taking in Newcastle, Lancaster, and LegoLand. Newcastle was very like the Caribbean. In that there was sea there. The more perceptive amongst you may notice that plenty of clothes were required to propect from the intense sunlight and great heat. And the driving rain. We had a good time though - it was great to see Barn and Lynne. The walk featured is in the Cheviots in the Borders, the beach at Tynemouth. We then went on to Lancaster to see mum & David, and Alex, Simon and her three. We visited Leven's Hall, which has amazing topiary gardens and a kids play park with mazes and the like, so we had a good day out.
