year. This time we had an apartment in the North East of the island in Cala Rajada. We had a pool, and the nearest beach (the first set of beach pictures) was a lovely small beach backed with pine woods. The weather was great - sunny and not too hot. We also saw Anita and her kids Angus, Brooke and Nieve a couple of times which was great, and we met up with our friends Matt & Nic with Harry who used to live opposite us. It gave me some company to watch the dire England games with!We also had some trips out - one to Pollenca (the one with the long steps up to Calvary hill) (not sure it's the real one). A long walk in the heat. For Helen and Elspeth and Fraser - I drove up with Charlie. Don't know what all the fuss was about! Pollenca was a lovely little town though. That afternoon we headed off to a beach on the moutainous peninsula in the NW of the island (Formentor) where there was a great little beach. All in all a good holiday, which seems oh-so long ago now! Must be time for another holiday, surely!
